Crash! Bang! THUMP THUMP THUMP!
That’s what I heard just right before I saw this…
That’s what I heard just right before I saw this…
Pirate Detective Thomas: Aha!! It was YOU who did it!!
Princess Molly: Huh? What? Uhh, I was too busy swooning…
Today, we started our first day of organized school, and the kids and I both had a great time.
I think Molly’s favorite part was painting. Ever since we got our supplies she has been asking me when she could get to paint.
I decided that it must be on day one.
I think she was pleased.
Well, the day is almost here! Just one more hopefully good night’s sleep and we’ll be in full on homeschooling mode!
I’m really not sure who’s more excited: The kids… or me?
Life is good.
We received the last of our supplies today. The kids were awfully happy about it.
We all decided to celebrate by drawing. Lots and lots of drawing.
We had an uber crafty kind of day.
First, we melted crayons into rectangles making them block crayons. Then, while we were waiting for them to melt, we needle felted my handspun merino wool in to some lollipops.
Yeah, I think it’s safe to say that the kids had a good time.
Molly and I headed across town to Hobby Lobby to get some art supplies for incorporating some Waldorf style learning into our everyday.
While we were there we came across some Christmas Trees. I use the word "some" very loosely. There was a huge selection.
Molly was quite partial to this lovely purple number.
I finished folding the last birdseye flat of my diaper laundry when I looked down to find Marcus sleeping on my lap. Figuring it would be a nice way to round out my (albeit unintentional) sleeping kids theme this week, I decided to snap this shot on my iPhone.
Editing in snapseed and uploading here while he napped. Well, I couldn’t just do nothing. 😉
Only one of my sons napped today. I’ll give you one guess to tell me who.
Oh, fine…
No fun; that darn 365 photo always give me away!
