We drove all day, and apparently I’m working all night. Freebie pattern, coming up!
Too bad it didn’t last very long…
It was raining and muddy, but the kids had a great time with the Lovell boys at the race today.
While their daddys were working hard, the kids were playing hard. Exactly how it should be.
I was so impressed with Thomas today. We went to the Legoland Discovery Center and he wanted to go on the flying machine. Thom went with Molly and the girl asked if he’d like to get in an open seat.
He didn’t hesitate for a second, jumped right on, introduced himself and had a great time.
We went met up with a friend in a park in Iowa on the way to Chicago today. It had some neat metal slides, concrete play structures, and even a huge metal merry-go-round.
Needless to say we had a great time.
When we get to a hotel after a long day of driving the kids know exactly what to do. They unbuckle, get their shoes on and gather up their toys in their backpacks. Tonight they got a special treat of riding the luggage cart up to our room.
Little seasoned travelers!
Well, she’s either a princess or cinnamon toast.
I’m going with princess.
Thom had a full on tickle fight with all three kids tonight. He may or may not have lost. I’m not at liberty to say. Please direct all further questions to my lawyer.
We went for a quick walk right before dusk at Devil’s Backbone tonight courtesy of Thom, who stayed back with sleeping Marcus.
I only had my iPhone with me, but got some pretty amazing pictures anyway.
You know, like this one of the ballerina and the wrestler…
