Dear multiple strangers we meet on the street,

Yes, I know he’s beautiful, but don’t confuse him for a girl!

If you spend five minutes in his presence, you will see the rough and tumble boy he is.

Yeah, that chipped tooth and scarred forehead? Didn’t happen while having a tea party.

The mom that has olive skin and dark hair that miraculously conceived and gave birth to a red head. (Yes, I get that all the time too…)

Making With Me

Molly requested pancakes and eggs for dinner tonight and, bonus, she wanted to help.

She got on her apron, helped me measure and stir all the ingredients, taking the whole process quite seriously.

In case you were wondering? …They came out amazing. It was all that careful stirring, I’m convinced of it.

Playing in the Lobby

The kids are becoming hotel brats. I mean that in the nicest of ways.

Once we settle in, they know all the ins and outs. They play with the girls behind the front desk (today they had the manager of the hotel helping them put a puzzle together), spread out in the lobby like it’s our own living room (come to think of it, we don’t even have this awesome coffee table workspace in ours!), and socialize with the housekeepers.

They are quite the little schmoozers. Daddy would be quite proud. 😉
