I scored an awesome deal on three chalkboards yesterday (yay for Staples rewards!) and hung them up this morning.
Molly immediately got to drawing and straight away had illustrated the story of Rapunzel, complete with the magic yellow flower.
We may never go to menchies again…
Ah, who am I kidding, we’ll probably be there tomorrow.
We had mail a package today and the kids decided to make a race out of it.
In case you were wondering who won, by the time we got home they were both laughing so hard they forgot that they were even competing.
Molly built her dream house this afternoon, complete with a "chimney on top so Santa can come down".
Here’s the backside:
After school time today Thomas jumped on the xbox to play some cars and Marcus happily sat alongside of him to watch.
Molly and I took that opportunity to straighten up from this morning’s activities while he was entertained. When we walked back in the room, we found Marcus looking like this.
Well, I guess he wasn’t that entertained after all, just tired.
I finally got back on the ball and hung up some photos on the wall in my livingroom. The kids were so excited they wanted to pose alongside of them.
I love my livingroom just a little bit more today. 😉
Okay, so it may look like we go out to eat alot, huh. lol… Well, this week was the Grand Opening of both Smashburger AND menchies in Loveland.
Had to hit both of them, it just wouldn’t be right if we didnt!
We went for a drive down to Spidertrax this evening after seeing Cars 2. Thomas fell asleep so Molly got Daddy all to herself.
The kids LOVE Menchies because they not only have frozen yogurt, but they have balloons and a fun chalkboard to draw on…
We as parents LOVE Menchies because we can throw the litte man in his PJ’s and by the time we get back home, he’s asleep for the night.
Ah, happiness all around.
Molly fell asleep on my bed this afternoon. As I was watching how peaceful she looked, I noticed how the natural light was streaming in over her face from the window.
Betcha know what happened next… lol… I had to take a picture.
I was a refashionista along with Mena at The Sew Weekly today. Here’s your sneak peek of a shoulder modeling shot. Lol. Don’t mind Marcus, he’s just about ready for his nap.
