Tonight we watched Megamind. (If you haven’t seen it you should, it’s great) Marcus nursed for the first half and napped for the second. Once he woke up he was not happy.

For over an hour, I tried just about everything I could think of to make that boy smile. He sobbed and nursed and sobbed some more, for a minute or two he would be complacent, but certainly not happy.

He started grabbing at his shirt, so I thought, maybe he’s hot, so I took it off. Next, he started tugging at his diaper. He wasn’t wet, so I put him on the potty, that did not make him happy.

It finally came to me, that boy wanted a bath.

Who knew that 2 inches of water could make 1 baby boy smile.
