Last night was rough. Marcus is teething, (or at least that’s what I’m telling myself to keep some sort of sanity) and I probably got a total of 2hrs (or at least that’s what I’m telling myself to keep some sort of sanity).
I went about my day today as usual, taking pictures of the kids like I normally do. About 9pm, I decided I could stay awake no longer, kissed the kids goodnight in their beds, turned off all the lights, laid my head on the pillow and went to…
Oh no! I forgot to post a picture!!
So here I am, half awake, making run on sentences left and right, counting the seconds til I can go to sleep.
Good Night! (or at least that’s what I’m telling myself to keep some sort of sanity)
I’m usually not one to edit my photos too much, but lately I’ve been having fun playing around. I recently acquired Aperture (thank you Apple App Store for selling it for half the CD pricing!!) and I have to say I haven’t ever liked the “Vintage” color preset, until today.
This is the SOOC pic:
And it was begging for a little Vintage Batman (and a slight dab of Vignetting).
After it was all done, I decided to take the original into Photoshop (my first love) and tweaked it ever so slightly to this:
Now I’m not so sure. I’m so indecisive, it’s a wonder I ever get anything done!
Hey, which do you like best?
Babies are amazing creatures. Every day is a new experience and discovery.
You know, like today, when Marcus got to the Hershey’s Syrup bottle while I was preparing the two older kids a healthy snack…
Ahh, the little miracles in life.
This is one of those secret benefits of cloth diapering.
Your diaper bag?
Like sleeping on a cloud.
Today, Molly napped. She and Thomas were playing together and I suppose she just decided a little cat nap wouldn’t hurt.
I love how her fingers still curl in while she sleeps. I will not admit that she’s almost 4. She’ll always be my baby girl.
Molly’s starting to not take a daily nap anymore and by bedtime the poor girl is just wiped out! She was so tired and all she wanted was to watch a movie on her iPod Touch.
You’ll be happy to know she is sound asleep now and appears much happier. 😉
This is what Marcus and Thom did while I was reformatting my hd today.
I tried to boot it up this morning and all it would do was show me that pretty gray apple logo and load and load. After about 3 hrs of troubleshooting, I got to the point where I could format the hd and reinstall Snow Lepoard.
Well, I should say that I’m reinstalling Snow Lepoard, it has about 19 hrs left…
Molly was playing with her Brain Quest cards and I said, “Molly, look at me.” She did for a split second and I managed to shoot this.
Later when uploading it I asked her what I should name it.
“I’m looking at you!”
Title by Molly.
For the past week, Thomas has been walking around the house saying that timeless phrase time and again. Today, he got his own Woody.
Gosh, I love that movie.
…especially Ken’s Dream House. 😉
