Nearing the end, I find myself repeating things. {aka: 47/52/3013}

As we have only 5 weeks left to 2013, I sit back and realize that things just happen again and again in life, in slightly different ways.

Molly lost both her front teeth {the ones that have been hanging on for weeks} in the matter of two days.
47/52/Portrait -Tooth Fairy Revisited.

I talked her into giving the tooth fairy a break and combining both teeth for one visit.
Two Front Teeth

Once I was downloading the photos from my camera, I realized that, yup, I’ve done this before… specifically on week 19.
19/52/Life - First Tooth Fairy Visit.

I’m loving her new smile.
Beautiful New Smile

Speaking of smiling… check this out…
47/52/Life - Who is this big boy?

Who is this big kid? He pulled a stool over to the refrigerator, climbed up and took a cake from the shelf, set it on the counter, and then called me over, saying “Mommy! I can eat this?”
Mommy? I want this.

Seriously?

Who could say no to that face??
Silly Boy

Razor Pro

Since moving to our new home back in the beginning of Autumn, the kids have enjoyed the sidewalks of our neighborhood more than I ever thought they would.
Prepped for riding.

Practically overnight, Thomas has improved so much with his razor riding.
Focused.

With the improvement, came laser focus.
46/52/Portrait - Seriously awesome.

…and precision…
He's got this.

There are days when I look at the boy he has grown into and ask myself, “Who is this young man in front of me?”
46/52/Life - When did my boy get so serious?

Then he catches my eyes, and smiles, and I am reminded that it’s still Thomas.
But, thankfully, he's still Thomas.

I just sit back in awe. Loving watching him grow.

Falling for Fall

Well, the kids have officially had their first Autumn memory in the backyard.
45/52/Life - Childhood Memories

The apple tree let go of it’s last leaves, which means a pile was made and jumped in…
One of my favorite parts of Autumn.

And laid in…
She can make a cozy bed.

And adorned as hats…
She can wear them like a hat.

And well, fell, just as they are supposed to…

An Orange Day

The kids decided to pick from the little orange flower patch in the yard.

…and smell them…

…and count them…

…and, of course, show them off…

…and pose with them…

Yup, it’s certainly autumn around our home. Complete with backyard crocs for me…

…and endless smiles from them.

The one where I talk about the basement…

Yeah…. so you know how we have a finished basement…

The basement. Right now it is home to my photography "studio", lots of boxes and bins that need unpacking, another bathroom that I love, the laundry/utility room and the kids' playroom.

The one with the room full of boxes? Well, I may have posted a tiny picture the first time around… because well… it was a lot of boxes… and stuff… and boxes…
Before

Yeah, it was a bit of a mess, and I couldn’t let that go on any longer. So today? With the help of my AMAZING husband who tirelessly unpacked and moved and sorted and stored and climbed the ladder time and again to the garage attic for proper storage, it now looks like this:
40/52/Life: After; clean slated.

I have alot of plans and ideas, but for now it’s so nice to be clean slated. <3 In the midst of it we did happen to come across the stand that Thom and I made to hold Thomas' moses basket alongside of our bed almost 9 years ago. Thom and I found the moses basket stand we made many moons ago.

It just so happened to induce sleepiness, and general day dreaming.
40/52/Portrait - Sleeping on the Job.

So many memories, and so many more to come. Loving life.

A week recap.

This week flew by.

There was the usual school time.
39/52/Life - School Time.

Followed by some backyard playtime.
Kick the can fun.

Running to get to the can first.

…and lollipops.
Lollipop time.

If you’ve been following me on instagram, you’d have seen that the end of the week had lots of paint. Molly got in on the action too.

Minecraft Time

So, just in case you didn’t know? Thomas loves minecraft.

This is what he looks like when he plays minecraft:This is Thomas playing minecraft.

Sometimes, it gets intense, and then he looks like this:This is Thomas getting serious while playing minecraft.

Then, it may even get more nerve racking, and he totally can’t help but do this:This is Thomas getting nervous while playing minecraft.

Followed by this {especially when encountering a creeper}:37/52/Life - Minecraft Creeper!

This boy has no poker face:Thomas has no poker face.

You can totally see everything he’s feeling, just by looking at his face:Totally can see it all over his face.
