With Marcus nursing less and less these days, I am always wondering if this will be the last time. He didn’t ask once to nurse yesterday, but seemed to make up for it today.
Little man just wanted to nurse to sleep for his nap today, and there wasn’t anything I was going to do about it to stop him. (not that I really tried…)
If it was left up to me, I would have been scrambling around at 9pm trying to get a 365 shot after a long day of driving. (YAY! We are HOME!!)
Molly had other plans. When we stopped for a quick breakfast this morning while driving through Evanston, WY she spotted this as we were loading back in the car.
"Mommy! Take a picture of me!!" she yelled, coyly posing alongside of this metal man.
Sure, why not. 😉
We drove a full 12 hrs today, making it to our favorite stop over; Little America.
Were else can you enjoy a water fountain this grand outside of Vegas?
Marcus gave me my Mother’s Day present about mid-day today.
A bit of quiet time. Well, maybe my use of "quiet" should be redefined. I spent the afternoon playing with the two elder babies.
Just look at those toes!
The W.E. Rock competitors were in the local parade today, and on a whim we asked the kids if they wanted to go. There was an overwhelming amount of excitement about going to a PARADE!!
Don’t ask me why.
It lasted the whole time too, and increased durning the intervals of candy throwing.
His favorite toys were brought out in our room as we unpacked today and what does he go for?
Why, a tripod of course!
We thought it would be fun to head up north in California through the Sequoia National Forest.
Where else can you see the world’s biggest tree: the "General Sherman" tree, or was it the "I want to go back to the hotel" tree.
I really couldn’t tell, considering how many times Molly asked.
We had relaxing day today on the beach and in the water. So much so that we decided to stay a day longer.
Translation: Expect another beach picture for tomorrow’s 365.
Molly loved the lego statues, she kept running up to them and saying "Mommy! Take a picture!"
Of course all the while scoping out which statue to pose with next.
I finally got her to look at me with Wendy.
